Who is Lauren Bryant?

About Me

I am an Ofsted registered childminder and I'm waiting for my first Ofsted inspection.  I work with Ilana in her home where we offer a home from home environment.  We provide loving, safe, professional and appropriate developmental care for your children. We work from a 3 bedroomed semi-detached home with a nice sized garden which is well equipped for the children. 

I am able to drop off and collect from coloured ribbons preschool, Round and Round the Garden Nursery, Teddies on a Rainbow, The Grange Infant School and New Haw Junior School.

My Experience

I have been a registered childminder since May 2022 and have previously worked as a nanny, a childminding assistant and in a pre-school nursery.  I have an enhanced Criminal Records Bureau check, Public Liability Insurance and I am registered with the Data Protection Agency.

My Qualifications

I enjoy learning and I regularly attend webinars and carry out training related to different areas of practice, such as safeguarding, delivering the EYFS, baby training, communication and language and many more.  When I registered as a childminder, I attended the Introduction to Childminding pre-registration course and have completed a level 2 Food Safety and Hygiene for the Early Years Settings online course.  I have a current paediatric first aid certificate, up to date safeguarding certificate, level 3 CACHE Diploma in Childcare and Education and a level 2 certificate in Understanding Childen and Young People's Mental Health.

My Availability

I am registered to look after 3 children under the age of 5 of which only 1 may be under 12 months old and another 3 between the ages of 5 and 8 and I am on the voluntary register to look after children over 8 years old.

My Fees

I charge an all inclusive hourly rate which includes all meals, snacks, trips out, wet wipes and treats. Parents/carers provide nappies. I work from 08:00 until 16:30 Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday's. I do not provide overnight or weekend care.
