Has a very useful website which has a specialised area for parents/carers on how to choose a childminder or nanny and has produced a short film explaining to parents the benefits of using a registered childminder. You can watch the film online at www.ncmafilm.org.uk.

 

Surrey County Council

Family Information Service - Surrey County Council (surreycc.gov.uk)

Gives good advice on how to choose the appropriate childcare for individual families needs and lists what is available in your area.  Also has information about childcare vouchers schemes, working tax credits, benefits for lone parents and help for families on low income.
