Policies and Procedures
My first responsibility and priority is towards the children in my care. As an Ofsted registered childminder, I am required to keep several policies and procedures in relation to how I run my business detailing how I will care for the children, being mindful of their individuality and relevant legislation. I do this by taking regular training courses and by reading relevant publications for example, The Foundation Stage Profile Handbook, Ofsted website, Surrey’s e-bulletin, the Department for Education website and monthly update newsletter, Safeguarding Children practices and many others. A policy is a written statement about how I work in one area of my practice. A procedure details the actions I will take to carry out the policy. My policies and procedures are listed below in alphabetical order: -
IMPORTANT
I have written these policies myself and cannot take any responsibility for accuracy if they are copied in part or in whole.
